Midwest PhilMath Workshop (MWPMW)
The Midwest PhilMath Workshop (MWPMW) will mark its twentieth anniversary this fall. In 2000, colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University (Jeremy Avigad, Steve Awodey and Dana Scott) provided the original impetus by asking colleagues at various other midwestern universities (Pitt, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and others) to join them in making a start.
Following the first meeting at Carnegie Mellon the workshop continued to meet annually at Notre Dame. It continues to the present day.
MWPMW 20 will meet on the University of Notre Dame campus Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th, 2019.
